Jelly 4/13/10
Well spring is here! POOR poodle. It's time for the spring shearing. Her woolie mammoth coat will be lambie like and she will prance like a princess. I bet you're thinking, "Hmmm... Does this poodle have a name?" We lovingly call her, Jelly. Yes, a jiggling, wiggling bowl of jelly. Well actually she is the color of peanut butter but I didn't want to call her Peanut or Butter, it just didn't sound original. So naturally my next thought was, "PB & J-drop the PB and there's sweet little jelly." It sort of stuck. Jelly is an apricot colored Toy Poodle. She is a year old and a whopping eight pounds. OK back to the dreaded shearing. Yup...there was hair flying here-hair flying there. We call it doggie spa! There are some pictures for you to see- enjoy!

Jelly is so cute. I use to have a black poodle named Marty. Now I'm into pugs.
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I used to go to hunt tests with our black labs. They would retrieve ducks. One time there was a poodle in the competition. Poodles are smart, and the poodle did well in the test.
